A Great Start

You know those mornings where everything just feels good. This, thank god, was one of those precious mornings.

I woke up, with a strech, to the sound of not one, but two roaring snores. This sound would bother most people, but to me it means that two of my favorite people are still alive. I walk over to the crib to see Ray in a big 'X' position. His arms and legs streched as far as they go; and his burrito blanket last night currently been transformed into a very flattering tube top.

I then head off to the kitchen to make some coffee but am side tracked by the immediate urge to pee. In the bathroom I notice that the bath mats are freshley out of the dryer. Now those of you who don't know how big of a clean freak I am let me just tell you now that this made my entire day. Not only because they were clean, but they way my toes looked on the new clean bathmat. It felt like when you smell eucalyptus or walk by a house on a spring day only to smell the fresh scent of clean coming out of a dryer vent.

So I continue to get ready for work, then wake kris up to finish his homework, and wake up Ray to eat some breakfast. I was sitting out the couch with my little man putting on some make up, and he looked like he was sad because mama was having all the fun looking beautiful and he wanted too as well. So I humored him and whipped out my mascara and let him blink it on.

Now I know most of you are thinking, "WTF! She did what!?!?!" Yes I put mascara on my almost 3 month hold baby. I also put a little blush... so there. Kris was very upset to say the least.

Now I present my baby boy, looking very handsome if I do say so myself.





See you can't even tell he has any make-up on, that's the trick. :)
