Hassled by a distributor

I'm an hour and a half into my shift and I already have a big enough gem of a story that I can't wait to blog about it.

*BEEP*

'GoXango this is melanie how may i help you?'

'well, i need to cancel my automatic shipping.'

'ok in order to cancel your automatic shipping we need you to either mail or fax a letter saying that you: 1.want to cancel, 2.have your id #, 3. reason for cancelling, and 4. signed by you.'

'well, what if i just put it on hold for 3 months, but i also need to change my credit card information.'

'ok not a problem. i can personally change your cc but i will have to transfer you to the AutoShip team in order to put you on hold for 3 months.'

'ok.'

'go ahead with the cc # whenever you are ready'

'ok just one second my computer is being slow this morning so i had to close out of the program and i need to resave your information...just one moment.'

'not a problem...now melanie have you ever tried XANGO juice? and do you like it?'

'yes, i have tried it. i've been on it for a month or so now and i love it.' lie...total lie it's an aquired taste and makes me gassy.

'really? wow, now would you be interested in a Xango-like mlm company where you can make plenty of money while still working at home?'

is this woman seriously giving me her schpiel for another company over the phone?
'you know i don't know too much about mlm companies...i'm new at this' another complete lie my family is so involved in mlm companies i could start my own.'and i'm in school so i think it would be difficult to keep up with that and schoolwork.'

'oh i see. how much longer are you in school for? what are you going into?'

'well i'm going into psychology and i believe i have at least another two years to go.' once again another lie...i'm no longer in school but i had to think of a lie quick and that's what came.

'oh i see. well do you know of anyone who may be interested in this type of business?'

'i don't, not currently at least. ok so i got my computer working again...so i will go ahead and transfer you to the AutoShip team o k?'

'ok thank you '

*BEEP*

'k so i have this lady on the phone and she wants to put her adp on hold...but she keeps hassling me to join her company even when i politely tell her no...so just heads up k?'

'oh geez i hate those ones...k send her through.'
